All bookings made through travel.sbsmeet.in are subject to this Refund & Cancellation Policy. Each travel service may also have additional supplier rules (hotel, transport, tour operator, airline, etc.). The supplier’s policy will always apply first.
User-Initiated Cancellations
2.1 Cancellation requests must be submitted via email or WhatsApp along with the booking ID.
2.2 Cancellation charges vary depending on the service booked:
- Hotel bookings: As per the hotel’s cancellation policy.
- Tour packages: Usually non-refundable after confirmation unless stated otherwise.
- Transport/Bus/Train/Air tickets: As per the carrier’s specific rules.
2.3 If the supplier permits a refund, the eligible amount will be processed after deducting any cancellation fee, service fee, or payment gateway charges.
Non-Refundable Bookings
Some special fare bookings, offers, last-minute deals, and discounted packages are strictly non-refundable. This will be clearly mentioned on the booking page before payment.
No-Show Policy
If the passenger/guest fails to report at the specified time or location (“No-Show”), no refund will be provided, regardless of reason.
Amendments / Changes
5.1 Request for change of date, time, or traveller details will depend on supplier approval.
5.2 Additional charges may apply, including fare differences, supplier fees, and processing fees.
5.3 Some bookings may not allow any modifications once confirmed.
Refund Processing Time
6.1 Once approved, refunds are initiated within 7–14 working days.
6.2 Actual credit to your bank/UPI/card account depends on your bank’s processing time.
6.3 For failed transactions where payment is deducted but booking is not confirmed, refunds are processed automatically within 3–7 working days.
Operator-Initiated Cancellation
7.1 In rare situations (technical issues, overbooking, operational problems, natural calamities, government restrictions), the booking may be cancelled by the operator or supplier.
7.2 In such cases, we will offer:
– A full refund, OR
– An alternative date/service of equal value (if available).
7.3 Our liability is limited only to the refund amount paid for that booking.
Force Majeure Events
Refunds may not be possible in events beyond control such as natural disasters, strikes, political disturbances, pandemics, or sudden transport shutdowns. Refund will depend on the supplier’s policy under such circumstances.
Service Fees & Deductions
9.1 Convenience fees, booking fees, and payment gateway charges are non-refundable.
9.2 Any partial refunds will be made after deducting these applicable charges.
